My recent stay at Il Porto in Tuoro Sul Trasimeno was nothing short of delightful. Nestled among serene olive trees and vineyards, this gem provided the perfect backdrop for relaxation, with spacious apartments featuring a fully equipped kitchen-a true blessing for a marine biologist like me, who loves cooking with fresh, local ingredients. The peace and quiet were just what we needed, especially after a busy wedding at the nearby Villa Baroncino. Andrea, our welcoming host, was incredibly helpful throughout our stay, guiding us to local attractions and even assisting with translations during a minor car incident. The charming village of Tuoro Sul Trasimeno is just a short walk away, where we enjoyed splendid views of the lake alongside a delicious takeaway pizza from the local pizzeria. After a day of exploring, it was sheer bliss to unwind by the lovely pool or relax in the gazebo, soaking in the tranquil surroundings. A well-deserved getaway!
